Cooperación Internacional is an NGO with 25 years of experience and 5,500 young volunteers, dedicated to supporting children and youth by promoting social development and human dignity.
Awarded the National Youth Prize, it encourages active participation, awareness, and cooperation between Europe and underprivileged communities, transforming intentions into actions and empowering young people to create solutions for social issues.
Our challenge was to develop an interactive website that would attract young volunteers from the Canary Islands—not only to help mitigate the effects of COVID-19 in vulnerable communities but also to sustain the wave of solidarity beyond the pandemic.
The website needed to be emotional and immersive, presenting real data and compelling stories through a clear and intuitive narrative that inspired action.
We created a visually impactful experience based on light and shadow to tell the story in phases: first the hardships, then the hope, flowing seamlessly like a mountain of emotions. We implemented horizontal scrolling with subtle animations and parallax effects to fully immerse users in the cause, achieving a concise yet deeply emotional navigation experience.
