Tresmares Capital is an alternative investment firm specialising in bespoke financing for high-growth SMEs. They operate across the full capital structure — private debt, minority equity, fund of funds and fund financing — with an expanding international presence. Backed by Banco Santander, they aim to become a European reference in the lower mid-market.
The existing website was flat, rigid and ungovernable — difficult to maintain and lacking any brand personality. It conveyed neither their technological foundation, nor their international ambition, nor the sophistication of what they do.
A firm with multiple business lines and very different audiences — SMEs, sponsors, investors, banks — needed a digital presence that matched their real growth and the credibility that Santander’s backing demands.
We structured the architecture around three axes — who they are, what they do and where they operate — with navigation designed so that each profile could find their own path without friction. The Banco Santander connection was integrated as a competitive advantage, not a footnote.
The concept started from the origin of the name: Pico Tres Mares, the mountain from whose summit the three watersheds of the Iberian Peninsula converge.
We reconstructed the peak in 3D as the centrepiece of the intro, and developed a conceptual layer of abstract forms and natural elements as a visual analogy for their financial products — depth and solidity without a single bar chart.
A scalable system built to grow with the firm: new geographies, business lines and funds without rebuilding from scratch. An investor portal with access to legal documentation and positions, and an architecture ready to incorporate content on a controlled schedule.
